HOT DOG/HAMBURGER COOKOUT, 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 14, Piney Creek Community Center, Longtown. The menu: Hot dogs; hamburgers; chips; potato salad; drinks; dessert. Cost: $5 adults, $2 children. Proceeds go to the Piney Creek Women’s Auxillary for Christmas gifts for low income families.

SPAGHETTI DINNER, 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 27, Masonic Lodge # 98, Oklahoma 51, Wagoner. Proceeds benefit the Wagoner Library Friends Corp., and the Belles Lettres Reading Program for second- and third-graders. Tickets are $5. To purchase tickets call John E.
