Muskogee Public Schools elementary schools will continue late-start Wednesdays for the 2014-2015 school year, with the exception of the first day of school, Wednesday, Aug. 13, according to a media release.
Students need to report to school at the regular time as shown in the table below on the first day.
Beginning with the week of Aug. 18, all elementary schools will start 30 minutes later each Wednesday to provide professional development time for staff.
Muskogee High School and Alice Robertson Junior High School will follow their regular schedules, but buses will go to those schools later on Wednesdays.
All bus stop pickups will be 30 minutes later on Wednesday mornings.
Here are the regular Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday start times and the Wednesday late start time at each school:
Early Childhood Center, Cherokee, Creek, Grant Foreman, Harris-Jobe, Irving, Pershing, Tony Goetz and Whittier elementaries — Regular start, 8:30 a.m. Wednesday start, 9 a.m.
Ben Franklin Science Academy — Regular start, 8 a.m.; Wednesday start, 8:30 a.m.
Sadler Arts Academy — Regular start, 8:15 a.m.; Wednesday start, 8:45 a.m.
Alice Robertson Junior High — Regular first bell, 7:50 a.m., and regular class start, 8 a.m. No change on Wednesdays.
