The Muskogee Fire Department is investegating a fire that swept through a home at 202 North S this morning.

The fire was reported at 11:20 a.m. A cause and point of origin has not been determined. Ruby Durosette, who lives in the house, was put in an ambulance, but was not transported, said Rebecca Smith, public information officer for Muskogee County Emergency Medical Service.

Flois Campbell, who lives next door to Durosette, said she saw flames coming out of Durossette’s bathroom window. Campbell said she and her brother called her name and found Durossette.
