The Muskogee Public Schools Board of Education voted Tuesday to continue the extended schedule its schools had already been employing, which was set to end Friday.

Instead, the extended schedules will continue through the end of the school year in order to make up three days lost to inclement weather March 3-5.

The elementary schools and Alice Robertson Junior High will continue to start 10 minutes early and end 15 minutes later, and the high school will continue to start 10 minutes early and end 16 minutes later through the end of the school year.

The district has taken a total of 10 snow days to date.
