During its regular meeting Monday, the Muskogee County Board of Commissioners took the following action:

• Approved monthly purchase orders, monthly reports and minutes of the Sept. 3 regular meeting.

• Approved agreement between OSU Extension and Security Alarms Co.

• Approved contract for service between the Muskogee County Health Department and Jeff Andrews AIA for architectural and engineering consulting services.

• Approved fiscal year 2020 Adult Partner contracts between the Muskogee County Health Department and the following subcontractors for TSET programs: Ashton Cook, Christy Cope, Jodi Gates, Teresa Little and April Smith.

• Approved agreement with the city of Muskogee to share equally proceeds from the fiscal year 2020 Justice Assistance Grant, a total amount expected to be $35,839.

• Authorized the Association of County Commissioners of Oklahoma to use the deductible fund to pay a claim made by the Muskogee County Sheriff’s Office in the amount of $5,867.19.

• Approved annual agreement between the Muskogee County Sheriff’s Office and Smiths Detection at a cost of $4,257 for courthouse security equipment.

• Approved District 3 expenditure from the 105 Account in the amount of $80,000 for chip sealing of the following roads/streets: 64th, Palm, 40th, 51st, Tennison, 84th and 20th streets.

• Approved contract for criminal justice criminal services with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services for an amount not to exceed $168,500 for drug court, mental health court and juvenile court.

• Approved procedure requiring contracts be executed by the Muskogee County volunteer fire departments and the Muskogee City/County E911 Trust Authority.

• Approved proposal from Kevin Garry of Troy & Banks regarding audit of utility bills for overpayments.

• Took no action on detention services agreement with Sequoyah Enterprises for juvenile detention services at Muskogee County Juvenile Detention Center.
