During its regular meeting Monday, the Muskogee County Board of Commissioners took the following action: 

• Approved monthly purchase orders, monthly reports and minutes of the July 29 regular meeting.

• Approved an application and road crossing permit from United Private Networks for a fiber-optic cable road bore located at North 11th Street, West Harris Road and North Main Street.

• Approved Porum Fire Department's purchase of a 3,000 gallon tanker truck on state contract from Deep South Fire Trucks at a cost of $264,200.

• Approved lease-purchase financing agreement for Porum Fire Department's purchase of a 3,000-gallon tanker truck.

• Approved federal mitigation plan required as part of plan for bridge replacement over Coody Creek at Webbers Falls Lock & Dam.

• Authorized ACCO to use the deductible fund to pay a Muskogee County Sheriff's Office claim in the amount of $6,207.77.

• Approved resolution authorizing participation in the County Road Machinery and Equipment Revolving Fund.

• Approved the dissolution of the Muskogee County Flood Plain Board.

• Accepted all compliant bids for a 2011 or newer excavator available to all Districts and tabled until Monday for further consideration from the following vendors: OCT Equipment, $104,863; Yellowhouse Machinery, $85,425; Boxer Equipment, $74,000/$71,500; Warren Cat, $115,000. 

• Accepted all compliant bids for a two-inch overlay project on South 95th Street East in District 1 and awarded the bid to the second-lowest bidder, Rosscon LLC, at a cost of $99,500. Low bidder failed to complete the job after being awarded the bid during fiscal year 2019.
