A Checotah man was hospitalized following a collision on Business 69 in McIntosh County, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report states.
Terry Robertson, 61, was in critical condition when he was admitted to Saint John Medical Center in Tulsa, the report states.
According to OHP, Learoy Pinkston, 80, of Checotah, was driving a 2003 GMC truck northbound and was stopped to make a left turn at approximately 2:50 p.m. Wednesday about a mile south of Checotah. Robertson was driving a 2005 Suzuki motorcycle northbound and struck the rear of the truck. Pinkston, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured. Robertson was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, the report states.
