Dining Spotlight — La Finca Mexican Grill

Sopapilla — sweet, fried bread — is one of the most popular deserts at La Finca Mexican Grill in Eufaula.

Server Mario Rodaf walks readers through the fajitas and ceviche at La Finca Mexican Grill in Eufaula.

What are some of your most popular menu items?

“The carna asada or the fajita la finca, the Emily Specials, the season specials. For appetizers, the cheese dips, the guacamole — that’s what we sell the most. The faijta la finca comes with grilled chicken, steak, shrimp, chorizo, vegetables, beans rice, sour cream, guacamole and flour tortillas.”

There is a lot of competition for food and dining in the Muskogee area. What do you do to distinguish the restaurant and make it a success?

“I would say there’s a lot of variety to choose from when it comes to our food and mixed drinks.”

What’s one item you know customers will love if they just give it a try?

“I would say ceviche, which is something they added recently. It’s shrimp with pico de gallo, cucumbers, and it’s new and not a lot of people know about it, but it’s pretty good.”

If you serve dessert, what are your specialties?

“Sopapillas, fried ice cream, bananas, flan.”
