Fort Gibson High School’s National Honor Society has been giving scholarships since 1988. The two winners of a $500 Fort Gibson NHS Scholarship are Krista Keeley, daughter of Jerry and Susan Keeley; and Erin Michael, daughter of Everett and Wendi Michael, a media release states.

In 2013, the American Red Cross began awarding scholarship money to high school organizations participating in blood drives during the school year. Desiree Phipps, daughter of Christine Gonzalez; and Madison Spyres, daughter of David and LaNell Spyres.
