Making A Difference In Our Community — Richard Wolf

PERSONALLY SPEAKING:

"There has always been a desire within me, to fill a niche that is not monetarily funded, example: The fire department, Civil Defense, and the local law enforcement department, any place that I could use my training of 24 years in the U.S. military in order to make my community better and safer."

WHY IT'S IMPORTANT:

"As an amateur historian, I can see a need to preserve the history of a facility that dates back to World War II. The Muskogee Davis Airfield is an icon of the 'greatest generation,' men and women that gave their lives, the ultimate sacrifice in order to secure the freedom of this great nation."

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

"The Military and Indian Aviation Heritage Foundation desperately needs help raising funding in order to preserve the World War II hangar that is one of only three left in the US. The hangar is rapidly deteriorating. It will soon be too late to restore a great historical facility that would make an awesome museum that could be used to educate the public, especially youth of today and the leaders of tomorrow."
