Muskogee man sentenced for threats, stalking, indecent exposure

A Muskogee man will spend 20 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to charges of threatening to perform an act of violence, stalking in violation of a court order, and indecent exposure, according to court documents.

Cody Galyean, 23, was sentenced Thursday to three concurrent 20-year sentences in prison and one six-month sentence in Muskogee County/City Detention Facility, court documents state.

The sentencing follows a June 22 incident in which Galyean made contact with a woman who had a protective order against him by sending a video of himself masturbating while making threatening statements. A child in possession of the woman’s phone saw the video, according to an affidavit filed with the case.
