Shiloh Christian School has hired a new administrator/principal for the 2019-2020 school year.
Susan L. Alkire, J.D., has accepted the position as Shiloh’s new administrator/principal. In addition to a law degree, Alkire holds an ACSI Educator Certificate: All Levels Principal and Secondary Education. She comes from a school in Yucca Valley, California, and brings broad experience and proven leadership. She served as part of the administrative team as the academic advisor, registrar, accreditation coordinator, honors teacher, and lead mentor teacher. While going to law school at Liberty University School of Law, she was a student ambassador, a Constitutional litigation clinic intern, and the Rose Providential Scholar. She was hired as the associate director of Admissions upon graduation.
“I have been incredibly blessed with and am thankful for the opportunity to have worked in Christian education for the past 20 years, solidifying my passion and calling to be part of training the next generation to be independent thinkers and learners," Alkire said in a news release. "Leading Shiloh Christian in this new season will allow me the privilege to continue pouring into the next generation through a Biblical worldview education. I am excited about God calling us to Oklahoma and the blessings that come with plugging into a new community. It is my honor to be able to serve the families of Shiloh Christian School.”
Alkire possesses a joyful high-energy personality which thrives in a fast-paced educational environment. Her outgoing personality, steady leadership, and vision have proven to be a successful combination in all areas of her life and will be a great asset as the new administrator of Shiloh.
Meet the new administrator and receive a glimpse of what the future holds as Shiloh launches their new “Armor Up” theme! Enrollment day for the 2019-20 school year is 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday at the school, 1282 Amity Lane, Tahlequah.
