Two Muskogee teenagers face multiple charges after they were allegedly caught with loaded handguns and marijuana, according to court documents.
Keshaun Jackson, 15, and Gervorise Lamont Warrior, 16, were charged in Muskogee County District Court on Wednesday with use of vehicle in discharging a weapon, knowingly receiving or concealing stolen property, and being a minor in possession of a firearm. Warrior also was charged with two counts of threatening to perform an act of violence.
The charges follow a Jan. 13. incident in which the two teens, alongside three men, were pulled over at the corner of 38th and Denver streets, according to an affidavit filed with the case. The group were found to possess three loaded firearms, two of which had previously been reported stolen, and a subsequent inventory of the vehicle revealed marijuana in the car, the affidavit states.
Both teenagers remain in custody at the Le Flore County Juvenile Detention Center on $25,000 bond each. Their next court appearance will be Feb. 5.
