Today is the last day to apply for voter registration to be able to vote in the Feb. 11 elections.

If you care about the city of Muskogee, register and vote.

The mayor's position has a number of candidates besides Mayor Janey Boydston: Ward IV Councilor Marlon Coleman, Wayne Divelbiss, John Lowrimore and Tracy Cole.

Ward I Councilor Evelyn Hibbs will face off against Ashley Davis for an unexpired term. Stephanie Morgan and David Lee Ragsdale Jr. will vie for Ward I council seat. For City Council Ward IV seat, Wayne Johnson, Traci Lynn McGee and James Webb will face off.

If you care about the Hilldale School Board, register and vote.

Brad Williams, Stacy Miller and Dean Robertson are candidates for Office No. 5 on the Hilldale Board of Education.

If you're affected by the outcomes of either of those elections, register and vote.

People who aren’t registered or need to change their registration may apply by filling out and mailing an Oklahoma Voter Registration Application form in time for it to be postmarked no later than midnight today.

Applications postmarked after that time will be accepted and processed, but not until after Feb. 11.

If you're a U.S. citizen, a resident of Oklahoma and are at least 18 years old, register. Your vote counts. If you want to be heard, register and vote.

Oklahoma Voter Registration Application forms are available at the County Election Board office located at 400 W. Broadway, Room 120 in the Muskogee County Services Building.
