As a recent graduate of Muskogee High School, I am excited to see Muskogee take the steps to pass a bond issue that will benefit the students.

We students see the upgrade as something we can be proud of when other school teams and friends come to town. We won’t be second class. We won’t take a back seat to other 6A schools. We will have MORE Rougher pride!

I graduated from a school that was built in the 1960s and attended an elementary school built in 1910, and we have settled thinking we can’t change. Even though I loved my school, it was old and outdated.

You can only do so much with renovations. Now we have a chance to change. We have a chance to be better and strive for excellence. This bond will enable us to be ready for the future and the technology we will need.

Please vote YES to move Muskogee forward!
