Unbeaten Keys wins twice — Jake Fisher pitched a two-hitter and received homers from Trey Kimble and Blake Blakeley to lift unbeaten Keys to a 10-0 victory against Spiro.

Fisher had eight strikeouts in the four innings pitched and improved to 2-0. Kimble hit a two-run homer in the first and Blakley followed with a two-run blast in the fourth as Keys improved to 10-0 on the season.

Keys finished the Wood Bat Tournament Festival in Pouteau with a 2-0 record Thursday. Earlier in the day, Keys downed Pocola, 5-3, behind Jake Robinson’s strong pitching.

Robinson had nine strikouts while giving up five hits.

Chance Ross broke the game open with a two-run homer in the second inning, giving Keys a 5-1 lead. Ross was 2-for-3 in the game.


NORTHEASTERN 14, SW OKLOHAMA 8 — Northeastern State scored seven runs in the third inning and Justin Delay had five runs batted in as the RiverHawks downed Southwestern Oklahoma State 14-8 in college baseball.

Delay batted 5-for-6 with a homer. Teammate Joel Eusebiao also hit a homer. Chris Sprick was perfect in four plate appearances to lead a 20-hit attack. Sprick finished with three RBI and one run.

Southwestern Oklahoma led 3-2 before Northeastern had the big 7-run third.

NSU improved to 9-17, 512 in the Lone Star Conference. Southwestern Oklahoma is 7-18, 5-15.
