What got you into coaching?

The love for soccer. It’s something that you learn to play in Germany as soon as you walk and it developed from there into coaching.

What was your favorite accomplishment/memory thus far as a coach?

In 1998 we won the 5A state championship going undefeated in California with Castle Park High School (Chula Vista, Calif.). As far as kickboxing, last year I had my local fighter Alfred Walker, a Muskogee guy,  won a $10,000 one-night tournament in Tulsa.  I had a young kid from Muskogee, Mason Morrow, 9 in 2013, won a junior world kickboxing title. He beat a kid from Thailand in the finals.

What is your favorite accomplishment/memory as a player?

As an athlete any competition for me was an absolute enjoyment whether it was on the soccer field or kickboxing ring, that drove me. There’s not a single moment. It’s just the simple fact of being a competitor.
