Notes: Muskogee has won four of the last five meetings. Muskogee is second in Class 6A-II in scoring defense giving up just nine points per game. The 46 points given up are the fewest in the first five games for a Rougher team since 1991 (22 points). Sapulpa lost its TCU commit at QB, Eli Williams, to a torn ACL suffered late in last week’s game.

Notes: Hilldale has won the last three meetings and can tie series at 7-7 with a fourth win. The 10 points scored last week were the fewest for a Hornet team since a 41-6 loss to Heritage Hall in the 2015 playoffs.  Both coaches, Hilldale’s David Blevins and Sallisaw’s Randon Lowe, served together on staffs at Muskogee and Locust Grove.

Fort Gibson has won the last six meetings. Tigers have lost six straight road games.

Tahlequah has won eight straight road games. Collinsville’s only loss came week one against Oologah, 13-12.

Stigler has won four of the last five meetings. Series was uninterrupted from 1928-87. Stigler has shut out two of its last three opponents. It’s the first time since 2003 a Panther team has recorded two shutouts in a season.
