Hilldale graduate Destiny Riddle has been nominated for the NCAA Woman of the Year award for 2019.
Riddle, a two-time All-Phoenix fastpitch softball Most Valuable Player, is among 10 athletes from Oklahoma colleges to be nominated and one of 131 Division II student athletes to receive a nomination.
Riddle attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University and just completed her senior season, finishing with a .250 batting average, six doubles, 16 runs scored and 29 runs batted in.
During her time at Southeastern, Riddle was a two-time All-Great American Conference player and a Google Cloud Academic All-American following her junior season.
The Woman of the Year award was established in 1991 and is given to recognize “graduating female college athletes who have exhausted their eligibility and distinguished themselves in academics, athletics, service and leadership throughout their collegiate careers.”
