SEQUOYAH 65, VERDIGRIS 56 — C.J. Soap scored 17 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter, including 12-of-16 from the free-throw line, and the Class 3A No. 7 Indians (9-3) held on to beat Verdigris in the third-place game of the Locust Grove Invitational. Justice Ratzlaff had 11 points, Brayden Haddock 9 and Colt Green with 8.  

The game was postponed to Monday from Saturday due to weather issues.

TULSA ROGERS 81, WAGONER 62 — The Bulldogs (7-4) led a championship get away from them in the second quarter of the Oologah Tournament Monday. Up just 16-13 after one quarter, Class 5A No. 8 Rogers ran out to a 41-24 lead at the half and went on to the victory.

Jacob Scroggins had 12 points and Jack Southern 11 for the Bulldogs. The game was postponed due to weather issues on Saturday.

 

Girls

CASCIA HALL 48, WAGONER 26 — Kara Bruce had 7 to lead Wagoner, which struggled in the first half trailing 15-0 after one and 30-8 after two. The Bulldogs fell to 2-9 on the year.
