Muskogee sophomore Meredith Stevenson was first in the 100 backstroke and second in the 200 freestyle — leading the Roughers’ showing at the Frontier Valley Conference meet Tuesday.
The Roughers got two other top five finishes. Klair Bradley was fifth in the 500 freestyle. Bradley and Stevenson, flanked by Jazzy Dyer and Abby Mix, were fourth in the 200 medley relay.
Dyer was 14th in the 50 freestyle and 16th in the 100 freestyle. Mix was 13th in the 50 free and 17th in the 100 free. Annebelle Czaruk was 29th in both the 50 and 100 freestyles.
On the boys’ side, Gavin Winn was 13th in the 50 freestyle and 17th in the 100 freestyle. Trey Hoos was 20th in the 50 freestyle and 23rd in the 100 free.
The Roughers’ next compete Tuesday at Fort Gibson in its own meet, with Fort Gibson, Yukon and Oologah.
