Kyle Phillips / The Transcript

Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger is pulled down during the Red River Showdown, Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. It was one of OU's nine sacks and 15 tackles for loss.

The number of times, beginning with the first game of last season, OU has held a team to fewer than the 311 yards of total offense Texas gained Saturday. Both came last season, when TCU gained 275 and Kansas State 245. Earlier this season, UCLA also finished at 311.

The number of different defenders to be credited with a sack for OU, followed by the number of defenders to be credited for at least half of a tackle for loss. OU’s nine total sacks tied a school record and its 15 TFLs marked the most since the 2011 Texas game.

The number of Sooner quarterbacks, all time, to run for at least 100 yards against Texas. Jalen Hurts ran for 131 Saturday. Previously, Jack Mitchell (117 in 1947), Jack Mildren (111 in 1971) and Charles Thompson (114 in 1987) accomplished the feat.

That’s the number of receiving TDs for CeeDee Lamb Saturday. It’s also the number of Sooners to ever grab a trio of TDs against Texas, Manuel Johnson and Dede Westbrook being the other two. It’s also where Lamb’s 28 TD catches following Saturday rank all-time in Sooner history, behind Ryan Broyles (45) and Mark Clayton (31).

The number of seasons OU has been perfect after their seventh game, a feat they’ll try to match this coming Saturday when West Virginia visits Norman. That was the 2004 season, when OU entered the national championship game, against Southern Cal, 12-0.

Kennedy Brooks’ yards per carry Saturday. He turned 10 into 105 yards, lifting his season totals to 35 carries for 311 yards, an average of 8.9 per attempt.
