Porter hires Long as new football coach

Porter Schools on Monday night hired Denton Long as its new football coach.

Long, who was formerly a coordinator at Verdigris, is currently an administrator in Ponca City.

He replaces Prentice Joseph, who left recently to join Travis Hill’s staff at Muskogee.
