The Three Rivers Bandits went to 5-0 in American Legion baseball Sunday with a 12-0 win over Bartlesville.
The Bandits scored all their runs in two innings, five in the second and seven in the fourth, and went 3-0 in the weekend four-way at Ada.
Tyson Fourkiller had a three-run inside-the-park home run in the second and Boone Lasater homered in the firth, a two-run shot.
Three Rivers had 12 hits, and every player in the lineup contributed. Checotah’s Seth Knight joined Fourkiller with two hits.
NSU signee Caleb Burchfield threw three innings of no-hit ball to get the win. Colby Mitchell allowed two in two innings.
Three Rivers is at Okmulgee County on Tuesday.
Oktaha’s Jon Shaffer was 2-for-4 with a run scored and Tiger teammate Brock Rodden had a hit and scored twice as the Small East beat the Small West 10-2 in the Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association’s All-State Games played Sunday at Enid. The two were the lone area representatives.
The games were moved apart from the OCA All-State Week starting this year. The East won the middle game 8-3 and in the large schools contest, the West beat the East 2-1.
