WAGONER 76, MIAMI 6 — Quarterback Sawyer Jones completed 12 of 15 passes for 266 yards and two touchdowns, including completing all nine of his pass attempts for 199 yards in the second quarter, as the Class 4A No. 4 Bulldogs (5-1, 3-0 4A-3) scored the most points in a game in coach Dale Condict’s tenure at the school. Chase Nanni caught four passes for 134 yards and two TDs of 32 and 50 yards as Wagoner led 42-0 at halftime. A total of 14 players ran for yardage and seven scored touchdowns. Chochee Watson led the ground game with 81 yards on six carries and two TDs.
HASKELL 52, VICTORY CHRISTIAN 26 — Jakoby Gouldsby completed 11 of 18 passes for 262 yards and three touchdowns on passes of 67, 30 and 26 yards, while running for 153 yards on 21 carries and two TDs on runs of 17 and 49 yards as the Haymakers (2-4, 1-2) won their first 2A-3 game of the season. Fernando Gonzalez caught five passes for 164 yards and two TDs of 30 and 26 yards, while Gage Sanders grabbed a 67-yard TD pass. Haskell led 20-14 at halftime. Haskell coach Greg Nation won his 100th career game.
GORE 35, PORTER 0 — James Dover ran for 115 yards and scored three touchdowns on runs of 13, 5 and 2 yards as Class A No. 10 Gore (6-1, 3-0) won a battle of A-8 unbeatens. Porter fell to 3-4 and 2-1. Weston Shanks completed 4 of 6 passing for 109 yards and Gunner Dozier caught all of the passes. Shanks also scored on runs of six and five yards.
EUFAULA 36, HUGO 26 — Nick Jones ran for 133 yards, including touchdowns on runs of 8 and 41 yards, and completed 6 for 10 passes for 109 yards and two TDs covering 57 and 13 yards. Noah Alexander ran for 109 yards, including a six-yard TD for the Ironheads (5-1, 3-0 2A-6). The loss dropped Hugo to 3-3 and 2-1.
VIAN 44, SEQUOYAH 13 — Jayvn Wright and Gray Cloud combined for 303 yards rushing and four touchdowns as the Class 2A No. 5 Wolverines (5-1, 3-0 2A-5) knocked the Indians (4-2, 2-1) from the 2A-5 unbeaten ranks. Wright ran for 194 yards and three touchdowns on runs of 62, 6 and 11 yards, while Cloud gained 109 yards and scored on a four-yard TD run. DeShawn Mayes returned a kickoff 75 yards for a touchdown. Elijah Mendoza kicked three field goals of 40, 32 and 37 yards. Trenton Harris led the Indians with 94 yards receiving on three catches.
MIDWAY 60, PAOLI 0 — Getting their school-record breaking fifth shutout, the Class C No. 3 Chargers (7-0, 3-0 C-3) got two touchdown runs from Kanyen Lang on runs of 55 and 2 yards, while Jeral Washington tossed a 20-yard TD to Rick Heroneme and ran 65 and 50 yards for other scores, while Caden Miller dashed five yards and returned an interception 60 yards for touchdowns. Charlie Colburn added a 55-yard TD run. It was the fourth time this season for Paoli to be shut out.
HULBERT 53, TALIHINA 20— The Riders won their first District A-8 in three outings and improved to 3-4 overall. Talihina dropped to 0-5 and 0-3. No other information was available.
GRAHAM-DUSTIN 52, WEBBERS FALLS 14 — Josh Mason scored on a 15-yard touchdown run, while Bobby Tripp tossed a 30-yard TD pass to Dylon Sholly, but that was the Warriors’ only scoring as they fell to 1-6 overall and 1-2 in C-4. Graham-Dustin improved to 4-1 and 1-1.
SAVANNA 14, WARNER 6 — Carson Parks scored on a one-yard dive in the second period for Warner’s lone touchdown. The Eagles dropped to 1-5 overall and 0-2 in A-8 with the loss.
